Heute Nacht haben Trent Reznor und Atticus Ross nach den Golden Globes auch noch den Oscar für ihren Filmsoundtrack zu " A Social Network " gewonnen.
Wenn man zurück denkt, was NIN neben Marilyn Manson für eine Art von Bürgerschreck waren, ist diese Entwicklung schon sehr abgefahren. Trent Reznor versteht es, wie kaum sonst einer, die großartigsten "Fuck off and die " Lyrics zu schreiben, die es gibt.  "Piggy" vom "The Downward Spiral" Album ist ein sehr plakatives Beispiel dafür. Besonders schön der fatalistische Unterton, der den Text prägt. Anbei ein Live Video des Songs in einer semi guten Qualität, allerdings transportiert es die Stimmung, die auf einem NIN Konzert vorherrscht, außerordentlich gut.
