Want some nasty Balkan Beats?
Las Balkanieras are three
young women who live in Düsseldorf but have their roots in Croatia, Bosnia and Russia. The band
was founded in 2008, and besides cooking, cleaning and washing they can
actually write cool songs. The girls add a Balkan flavour to Pionear‘s
crossover beats with elements from Hip-Hop, Dubstep, Reggae and Electro. The
live show is really crazy. They really love to play with the audience, offer
free Vodka and Burek and always lure some willing dancers on stage. I was nearly
going crazy last Saturday when they visited the Schlachthof in Krefeld for the second
time. It’s hard not to fall in love with these bitches.
