Well, this is my version of the Alice mythos.
If you know a bit about Lewis Carroll and the photographs he took from Alexandra Kitchin, you might get another sight upon his work. Still it's not quite clear if he loved little girls more than it is
allowed or if he just followed a victorian fashion which was to symbolize
innoncence through pictures of naked children. It was popular to send
those postcards on all holidays. It's a controversial topic...

Vielleicht wißt Ihr ein bißchen etwas über Carrolls Leben und die vielen
Photos, die er von Alexandra Kitchin bis zu ihrem 16. Lebensjahr machte. Dadurch könnte man auch eine andere Sichtweise auf sein Werk bekommen. Es ist immer noch nicht ganz bewiesen, ob Carroll passiv pädophil war oder ob er dem Zeitgeist folgte, der in der viktorianischen Epoche vorherrschte, nämlich Unschuld durch die Abbildung kleiner nackter Kinder darzustellen.
