Hey Cosmonauts....
today I want to introduce this fascinating woman to you: Cate le Bon. She released her second album "Cyrk" this April and a sequel "Cyrk II " in August.
Her voice is compared to Velvet Underground's Nico. It's dark and old, it reminds me a lot of female 70ties Folksingers.
Coming from West wales, her first EP was written completely in Welsh language. But her debut "My oh My" and the "Cyrk" albums are in English.
I want to show you a song from " My oh My " and one from "Cyrk".
Shoeing the Bones
I’ve got a love - I’ve got a love
Open my hand and make a jump
I’m on a train it’s overrun
I fought like it’s not the only one.
Why could you go, where could you stay,
I’ll die on my feet an’ I’ll pass away
Grippin’ the rope in days just gone
And shoeing the bones for ev’ryone.
And these are hard times to fall in love
